INTRODUCTION
If you are going over this information, it probably means you have some interest in helicopters. It likely means you are a flight simulator fan and want more information on how to fly the helicopters. You selected the Bell Jet Ranger that came with your Microsoft flight simulator and found out that it wasn't so easy to fly around and control it. Did you find that you crashed all the time when trying to land? These are the most common things I hear about the helicopters. There are several different and very good helicopter help programs and documents on the net that will help you greatly. I have included links within the LZ to give you the most information to assist you in your flights.
If you are new to FS, you are going to have to put the flight in pause mode to get that coffee or make the rest room break. As you will learn, you have to be in control all the time when flying the helicopters. There are no auto pilot in these rotary aircraft as you'll find in the fixed-wing aircraft. The LZ Flight School is designed to give you the tools and understanding of the FS helicopters and their control, so that you can get busy flying. There are quick tips to help you along the way. I know it was frustrating for me at first, jumping in the helo and trying to control the darn thing. Frame rates were slow which caused lousy control or you just couldn't fly like you thought you should. Well I got to tell you it takes practice for one. Two, you need someone to lend a hand through some of the things that you just shake your head at. That is where the LZ comes in. Don't get frustrated, get help to beat this challenge.
