FRAME RATES
The issue of frame rates per second is a big one when it comes to flying helicopters. It also is dependant on the equipment (computer) you are using to fly your birds. I recall in the early days, frame rates were about 8fps to maybe 20fps with the most common systems. You attempted to gain frame rates by shutting down everything you could just to fly the helicopters. Upgrading your computer's video card or other items was the answer in most cases. The only thing I can say is that I have personally upgraded my computer and found the better the system, the better performance. It isn't that we get tons of questions about frame rates but it has came up over time. I took some screenshots to show whoever is interested in the frame rate question. I used our Bell 412 as the model, as it was the topic of a recent frame rate issue. My system is the Dell 8250. I have also noted this system was mentioned at Flight Sim.com. You be the judge.

I can only say that I'm certainly not complaining with these frame rates. Each system will vary.
